Why we built this Contact Form 7 Mailchimp Extension

Many Mailchimp extensions are already available but we added many new features. This plugin shows all mailchimp merge fields list and you can easily map any field. This plugin displays complete log of data sent to mailchimp. You can easily resend any contact form entry to mailchimp.

How to Setup

  • Go to "Mailchimp Accounts" tab then add new account.
  • Go to "Mailchimp Feeds" tab then create a new feed.
  • Map required mailchimp fields to contact form fields.
  • Send your test entry to mailchimp by clicking "send to mailchimp" button.
  • Go to "Mailchimp Logs" tab and verify status of previously sent entry.

Connect Mailchimp account

Connect any contact form 7 to Mailchimp account by simply entering Mailchimp API key. Additionally, you can connect multiple Mailchimp accounts to Contact Form 7.

Map Mailchimp fields

Select any mailchimp list then Map mailchimp list fields to any contact form 7 fields. Plugin displays all mailchimp merge fields.

Been using the free version so I could do redirects after somebody signed up via Mailchimp x Contact Form 7. When I needed more advanced features like being able to set "Interest Group" on the subscriber, I got the premium version since it was reasonably priced. This was a lot more affordable for me than paying for something like Unbounce, so I'm happy with it so far. It's also really easy to setup too

So I posted and got a timely reply and they were actually willing to help!! Very happy with their support - especially for a non programmer who knows enough to just be dangerous to my own site 🙂

In looking for a customisable solution to pass any fields including tags and groups to mailchimp, this is the one! The one improvement is like to see is being able to pass the page_title as we use the same form in several pages often and need to differentiate. There is the page _url as a workaround but that's bulky. Otherwise, very customisable and reliable.
